You get the full value of the gift card, and the vendor ends up paying a percentage of the proceeds to St. Frances Cabrini. We all need groceries, clothes, gifts, and entertainment. You choose where you want to shop and how much you want to spend, and a portion of the proceeds benefits our school.

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, check with your company’s human resources department.

Please contact the Development Office if you need assistance with the matching gift process.

How do matching gift programs work?

The process for matching gifts is simple and standardized. It can be broken down into four steps:

Step 1: Employee makes an initial donation

Step 2: Employee submits matching gift request to the employer

Step 3: Employer confirms eligibility of donor, donation, and the nonprofit

Step 4: Nonprofit receives a check!

How do I submit a matching gift request?

The most common breakdown in this process, by far, is seen at step number two. Unfortunately, the nonprofit can not make the matching gift request; the donor has to do it.
