"Will YOU come and
follow me?" - Jesus
2007-2008 School Fund Giving Campaign
The Annual Giving Campaign is essential to continuing the ministry of educating our children. Proceeds from the Cabrini Annual Giving Campaign go to two vital areas. Your generous gift will help with --
-
Tuition Assistance - helping families bear tuition costs-
Underlying Principle: Tuition cost should
not be an obstacle to Catholic education. Cabrini School is
committed to the principle that its doors shall be open to all,
regardless of economic circumstances and makes every effort to
achieve this goal.
The Annual Giving Campaign is a way you can help make Catholic education accessible to many families. Last year Tuition Assistance helped make a Cabrini education possible for 40 children. Each year the need increases. Won't you help?
Capital Funds - Your donation to the Annual Giving Campaign also helps
upgrade facilities to ensure they are safe and secure learning environments.
Our current focus:
Our Middle School wing needs to be replaced in the next few years,
and we hope to build a media center thereby combining our library
and technology lab. Major gifts are now being accepted for that project.
Can we count on your help?
During the last dozen years your support of Cabrini School has helped provide facilities for a safe and secure learning environment.
- Added four classrooms (mid-1990s)
- Main building entrances: energy conservation and security upgrade (1999)
- Main building total renovation: seismic and other life-safety upgrades, energy conservation, improved learning environment, reduced maintenance features (2001).
In addition to meeting the needs of our students and reducing energy consumption, your help through these projects has:
Enhanced curriculum. Donations from our friends provided substantial additional funding, especially in science and technology curriculums.
- Expanded services and revenue sources through the addition of Pre-Kindergarten and Extended Day Childcare programs.
- Increased teacher salaries, an economic and social justice issue, from 69% of parity with public school schedules to the current 94%
.
In light of the economic times the needs are greater. We ask each of you to prayerfully consider an especially generous gift this year, to both meet the needs and help those less fortunate.
