Alumni

This portion of our web site is just for you! If you have ever attended St. Frances Cabrini School, we are really happy that you have taken the time to touch base with your roots.

In this section you will find:

  • Write to us via email or snail mail.  Let us know what you are doing, and have been doing, since you left SFC.  Send a recent picture of yourself.  Let others know how to contact you.
  • Read notes from other alums
  • Read our "Profiles" section for in-depth articles on some of our grads
  • Cabrini Journal is an annual newsletter about the school and Cabrini friends.  If you did not receive one in the mail, please call the Development Office. We will be happy to send one to you.
  • Other links to people in your past.

While you are online with us......

Here are some other spots on our website that you might want to see:

  • Our new church --  After nearly 50 years, the SFC faith family moved its gathering place for worship from what was intended  as a temporary location in the school building.  Our new building can accommodate over 900 worshipers.  The old church space will be renovated to serve both parish and school for large gatherings, performances, and meeting rooms.  We don't have the money at this point to go ahead on that project.
  • Today's classes.  See what kids are doing these days at Cabrini School.
  • What's So Great About Cabrini School.  Read why your alma mater is still a great place for kids and their parents.  It might even be better than it was in your day.
  • Thumbnail History.  Fill in the pieces you may be missing.  Our Endowment Fund includes special commemorations for people who have played major roles in Cabrini's past.
  • Opportunities to Help.  Just as your Cabrini education was a gift from elders who freely gave of themselves, today's students deserve similar support.  See what others are doing, how support is used, and how you might help.

Tell us about yourself

How are you doing? Please send your comments so we can share your thoughts with other alumni. Would you like to tell us a little about your life since leaving Cabrini (family, work, education, significant moments...)? Any information you submit will be edited for public viewing. Please only release personal information you are comfortable having other people read. If you would like to email or snail mail a photo of yourself, your spouse, or family, it can be inserted on this page. Including your email address would help Cabrini graduates stay in touch with each other.

Hello, I went to Cabrini in 1975 I believe.  I was there from 3rd grade through 6th grade.  I am now married (10 years), and have a 7 year old daughter.  My husband is in the military.  He has been with special forces, ranger, and medical flight units.  As for myself, I graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Psychology, and then went for my Masters in Education with adult education and diversity emphasis and school psychology minor.  I am currently working with at risk teens in an outreach center.  I teach GED and provide some counseling.  My name is now Karen Parker, but was Karen Bacak.  My email is sunshine_462@hotmail.com.

Michele Conrad Lareau (1987) has been happily married to (Tim) the greatest guy in the world since January 1992.  We are the proud parents of three beautiful children Timothy Conrad 5, Thomas Eugene 3, and Claire Michele 2.

I used to go to St. Frances Cabrini back in 1997 and I was in the 5th grade back then and I am wondering how I would contact old school buddies? (submitted by Thomas Jackson on July 6th, 2001)

Aloha from Hawaii!!!! I went to St. Frances Cabrini for two years during my 6th and 7th grade in 1977-1979. I’ve been to five different schools before attending SFC because my dad was in the military.  I'd like to comment on how much SFC impacted my life.

I still can remember my very first day at school like it was yesterday.  I forgot to bring lunch!  Sister Mary (the principal at that time) was so kind and generous to me that she made me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Since that day, a P&B sandwich has been my favorite of all time!

Since then, I graduated from Damien H.S. here on Hawaii in 1984, graduated at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, then my masters in education from Chaminade University, and currently teach at Pearl Harbor Elementary.  I've served on the Diocese Pastoral Council for the Bishop of Honolulu and am the Youth Ministry Director at St. Jude Church at Makakilo, Hawaii.

I am very thankful to all of my teachers that shaped and molded me to become the person I am today!   I'd like to especially thank Sister Mary. Because of her, I make sure that all of the students in my classroom are properly nourished and fed each and every day.  Thank you!!!

If there’s anyone that was in my classrooms while I attended SFC, email me at Bramos8761@aol.com.

Aloha!!!!
Derek Ramos
